Patagonia Heliski offers heliskiing on the volcanic peaks and ancient Araucaria forests of southern Chile's Lake District. Based near Pucón, the operation accesses terrain on and around active volcanoes including Villarrica and Quetrupillán, delivering a truly unique ski experience — descending powder-covered volcanic slopes with views of steaming craters and pristine lakes. The Araucaria (monkey puzzle) forests provide incredible tree skiing. Chile's Lake District receives heavy Pacific moisture creating deep snowpacks. The cultural experience includes Chilean hot springs, Mapuche heritage, and outstanding local cuisine featuring fresh lake fish and Patagonian lamb.
