Ski Arpa Heliskiing
Los Andes, Valparaíso
About
Ski Arpa operates both cat skiing and heliskiing in the high Andes above the Aconcagua Valley, about 90 minutes from Santiago. At altitudes of 3,000-4,200 meters, the terrain is above treeline — vast open bowls, volcanic ridges, and wind-sculpted cornices under blazing Andean sun. The snow is typically dry and light due to the altitude and continental climate. Ski Arpa pioneered cat skiing in South America and added heliskiing to access more remote peaks. The combination of high-altitude terrain, consistent snow, and proximity to Santiago makes this one of the most accessible Southern Hemisphere ski adventures. Chilean wine country is just down the valley.
